The answer revealed - Only one reader got it right to the dot!!!

Yesterday's post was a huge success. 2000+ readers read it on various social media platforms, and many enthusiastically participated and responded with their ideas, thoughts, and answers. The following is the list of those enthusiastic readers who tried answering:

Ms. Vineela, Mrs. Vasundhara Nanjappa, Mrs. M. Padmavathi, Dr. M. Uma, Ms. Swati Thakre, Ms. P. Bhavana, Ms. Minarva, Ms. Preethi, Ms. Shreya, Ms. Ayesha, Ms. Riddhi Shah, Ms. Nandini Kulkarni and Prof. Poorna Chandrika (my Ex-colleague from CBIT).

Mr. Arvind, Dinakar Garu (IAS), Y. Srinivas, Nagarjun Sir (my ICBM colleague), Prof. Vidyadhara Reddy, Mr. Kunta Madhu, Mr. Yeshwanth Mr. Chandrasekhar (an ex-colleague from SSIM), Mr. Abdul Arquam, Mr. Pranav Pratheek, Mr. Guna Sekhar, and Qutub  (my colleague from ICBM)

Hold your breath!!! Dr. M. Uma (my sister and renowned gynecologist), was the only one to get the exact answer I sought. It may be apt that a gynecologist got it right!!

Many have guessed that it was the approaching Mother’s Day; maybe it was my tribute to my mother who recently passed away, various stages of motherhood, etc.

Women were generally considered weaker and even called “weaker sex." However, research has shown that they are the stronger sex and outlive men.

This is one line/slide I use when I have more women in my training session than men, and even when there are fewer women than men. This is one of the easiest ways to get the women on my side.

So, what were the words?

Mother             -           Mot he r

Women            –          Wo men

Lady                 -           Lad y

She                   -           S he

Madam            -           M adam

Female             -           Fe male

Her                  -           He r

Duchess           -           Duc he ss

So, it was a simple wordplay. In every woman, there is he or a man. No man is complete without a woman or a lady. But we can’t say the same for a man. In no name of a man do we find a lady's name embedded.

That is why a woman is called the mother, and we worship her as Maa Kali or Maa Durga. All life-giving river names are of women: Ganga, Saraswati, Godavari, Kaveri, Tungabhadra, etc. Even Krishna is not exactly a male name, for example, actress Krishna Kumari.

That is all. Thanks a lot. It was a great interaction.
